David Ramsey Price
Seminarian for the Diocese of Colorado SpringsI have been a seminarian for the Diocese of Colorado Springs for three years. Before I came to Colorado, I was studying to be a priest in a religious community in Lincoln, Nebraska. When I decided to leave my community, Bishop Sheridan came to our seminary for an Apostolic Visitation. When I told him I was planning to leave the order and study for a diocese, he invited me to consider coming here. I went home for a couple of months to wait and pray to see what God wanted me to do, and His Providence brought me to the Diocese of Colorado Springs. I am currently in 4th theology at St. John Vianney Theological Seminary in Denver.
I am originally from South-Central Virginia, where my family still lives. I was raised Southern Baptist, but converted to Catholicism when I was a Sophmore in High School. I attended college in Virginia, studying History and French, and lived in France for a year before entering seminary.
I enjoy lifting weights, running, playing the pipe organ, and listening to music.
